GV UPDATE:

We hope everyone is doing well. We’re sure that many are aware but for those who aren’t, Rochester and many surrounding towns were hit with a couple of fairly aggressive storms. On March 23rd we had a storm that started as snow, turned to rain, and then everything froze solid taking down trees, limbs & power/cable lines. Only to be followed up 12 days later by a heavy wet snowstorm that knocked out power and cable (again) for multiple days also taking down even more trees and limbs. The clean up has been extensive but we have been working nonstop restoring power, cable, water, and cleaning up all the downed trees and limbs. So here is where we’re at…
  • THE GATES ARE OPEN – Feel free to drive down to your site, please avoid parking on soft grassy areas.
  • POWER – Power has been restored in all areas. If you find that you have no power at your site, please give us a call so we can help.
  • WATER – Water has been restored to most areas of the campground. We do have a couple areas that have underground leaks, we hope to have those wrapped up this weekend. Until then, there are a few areas that still do not have water.
  • UPPER BATHROOM – Feel free to use the upper bathrooms if you are coming up for the day to take care of your site.
  • PLAYGROUNDS – The upper playgrounds behind the barn are ready if you want a place to send the kids while working on your site. (Beach playgrounds are not quite ready yet).
  • NO OVERNIGHT STAYS YET – Please head out before sunset.
  • OUR OPENING DAY GOAL – We hope (as long as the weather continues to cooperate) to open for overnight stays, Friday of Mother’s Day Weekend… Friday May 10th.

See you all soon!

Hello Grand View campers and welcome to our 2024 camping season!!!

Spring Has Arrived! Before you know it, you’ll be heading up to get your camper opened and your site cleaned up for what will hopefully be another amazing year full of great weather and wonderful memories.

Fortunately, we had a fairly mild winter and the campground held up pretty well, although the roads are still extremely soft and not yet drivable. We will keep you posted as to when we can officially open the gates to let you drive in.

As I'm sure most of you recall, each year before April 1st Grand View is required by the City of Rochester to provide a list of any campers that are registered. We have created a very simple form for you this year.

If your trailer is registered (has a current license plate), click on the link below, to let us know. The deadline is March 30th.

Thank you... Hope to see you soon!
